WOW PowerLeveling: You may want to collect the extra ashes on an alternate character
The main problem with this money-making method is that it offers infinite supply in the face of limited demand, so you’re not likely to get WOW PowerLeveling rich quickly by selling these ashes, though it provides a nice financial boost on days when lots of newer characters are around to do the quest.
Also, this loophole could be closed during a future update, so consider offering an urn of ashes to one player for free (just to see if it still works) each time you prepare to sell them.
Note: For high-level folks, who are reading this but have already done the quest, be aware that you must have the “Althea’s Ashes” quest in your quest window in order for the altar to give you any ashes. With that in mind, you may want to collect the extra ashes on an alternate character.
Farming Spot: “Nolani Academy” mission - Charr attacking the Academy
The Nolani Academy mission, the fourth and final mission in this region, is one of the best places to gather large numbers of Charr Hides and Carvings, along with some gold and sellable loot.
Being able to damage many mobs at once (for example, with area-of-effect spells) is very helpful here, so set up your skills accordingly.
