WOW Power Leveling:There are too many of them in Azeroth.
I dislike trees. There are too many of them in Azeroth. Specifically, there are too many with either low crowns or low-hanging foliage. I like to keep my camera pulled all the way back, so that I can see more of what's going on. I also like to keep it somewhat high in the sky because there is never really anything interesting to look at above, and I wouldn't be able to see anything worthwhile (players, mobs) ahead in the distance anyways. Which means there will often be leaves in between the camera and my character, obstructing my view so that I cannot see unless I move the camera down closer to the default view.
It's not just trees that I dislike either, it's all things above the character that interfere with the camera. Foliage, banners, sails, and anything else the camera can clip through, those are all things I don't care for. But then there are things which the camera doesn't clip through, like decorative chains on the ceiling (Cho'galls room comes to mind). These decorative pieces only serve as obstructions for high cameras. Some areas (like Cho'galls room, but also the halls of Blood Furnace) have decorative pieces on the ceiling which interfere with targetted AOE spells. Why would a priest want to place a Sanctuary on the ceiling where no on can ever reach it? Yes, that has actually happened. The camera should be able to clip through decorative pieces like that, which would then make them become transparent.
In general, it would be really nice if more of the game was built with high cameras in mind. I could see through the world inside Scarlet Monastery. I could see the void beyond from the spider hive in Drak'Tharon. I can't see anything in Zul'Aman. I have seen druids summon treants on the ceiling in Bastion of Twilight.
