This is a request to restore the Keyring and its keys. My understanding is that the Keyring was removed in order to make space available on the user interface for new features. The keyring had been one of the most useful additions to the interface. Unlike some game changes I don't recall anyone saying negative things about the keyring when it was introduced.
There are two key (sorry) reasons why I would like to have the keyring restored:
1.) The keys destroyed were not virtual bits of broken wood and bone and metal, they were our keepsakes of otherwise long forgotten wars. Did we look at them every day? Probably not. But when we did we smiled at the old scars and memories.
2.) The definition of a keyring is that it holds keys and other small items. My bags and the bags of countless others are now filled with still useful though seldom used items, most if not all of which are keys or key related.
If we assume the developers truely have no room on the action bar for the few pixels the Keyring icon required, I have a proposed solution. Make the Keyring accessible from an icon on the backpack, once the backpack has been opened. Having the Keyring and its keys returned would be very much appreciated.
